대학과 지역사회가 협력을 강화하는 기제로써 대학의 사회적 책임(USR) 연구

The university's roles and responsibilities is now more important than ever, and it is intended to examine the historical background and development process of the University social responsibility(USR). In addition, the purpose of this study is to analyze the differences between social service and social contribution at universities used in university societies and reveal that social responsibility and social contribution, which are the common terms in university society in our country, are the same concepts. We would like to realign that university social service is evolving a engaged university, which is a mission of civilization history. In the case of Korea, It also seeks to re-examine social contributions that is the purpose of the university specified in the Higher Education Act in Korea. Through this, It is able to see that the university evaluation was internalized as a mechanism to strengthen the University Social Responsibility of accountability based on the Higher Education Act. The University Social Responsibility, which utilizes the university's diverse human, material and technical skills to solve regional and university issues, instills neighborhood revitalization in the local and university community and tackles global challenges.
