Using 286 employees in South Korea, this study developed and tested a moderated mediation model linking person-group (PG) fit to organizational citizenship behavior toward both individuals (OCB-I) and the organization (OCB-O). The results showed that the effects of PG fit on OCB-O and OCB-O are mediated by team identification. Moderated mediation analyses further revealed that the indirect effects of PG fit on OCB-I and OCB-O through team identification are contingent upon the level of task interdependence; positive at the high level of task interdependence but zero at the low level of task interdependence.
