Solving the Financial Problems of Consumers: The Social Market Economy through Sustainable Finance

The concept of social market economy is formed to apply in marketing and finance. It is related to the field of consumer finance in macrosystem which to describe the culture of individuals residing in market system. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to propose the combined concepts of a social market economy and consumer sustainability that can provide a helpful model of social economy that would suggest a potential way forward in terms of consumer well-being as a macro-level goal. As academic macro marketers and policy maker, it is our mission for countries such as Korea need to adapt the social market economy for their own benefit, and each country building a unique interaction between the consumer and national policy in order to respond effectively to change in the consumer financial market.
