철도 이용의 매력 증대 방안에 관한 연구

Concentrated growth in large cities has caused serious traffic problems. In particular, road-oriented transportation policies led to traffic congestion, causing many social problems. It's been a long time since the acceptance limit was exceeded. However, railways are much more eco-friendly than other public transportation. It can save energy. High stability and mass transportation can be secured. It is attracting attention as an eco-friendly public transportation in the future. The opening of the high-speed railway has revolutionized the Korean railway society and economy. Road-oriented transportation policies have reached their limits on growth. In Korea, where most of the land is mountainous, road development makes it virtually difficult to compete further. The opening of KTX has brought about the traffic revolution in Korea. A drastic change has begun from road-based traffic to railroad traffic. In this respect, the practical value of transportation welfare has begun to emerge. Accordingly, this study looked at the attractiveness of railway services. As a result of the study, accessibility and speed of railway service quality had a positive effect on the convenience of railway. But environmental friendliness has not affected. The punctuality had a positive effect on predictability. However, safety has not affected. Convenience and predictability had a positive effect on railway attractiveness.
