The Effects of Entrepreneurship Preparation Education for Prospective Entrepreneurs on Entrepreneurial Anxiety and Entrepreneurial Decision among College Students: Focused on the College Students with Catering and Cooking Major

This study aimed at determining the effects of entrepreneurship preparation education for prospective entrepreneurs on entrepreneurial anxiety and entrepreneurial decision. To achieve this, an empirical survey was carried out to college students. The results are as follows. First, funding education in entrepreneurship preparation had a significant negative effect on entrepreneurial anxiety, partially adopting hypothesis 1. Second, funding education and marketing education in entrepreneurship preparation had a significant positive effect on entrepreneurial decision, partially adopting hypothesis 2. Third, entrepreneurial anxiety were partially mediated in the effect of entrepreneurship preparation education on entrepreneurial decision, adopting hypothesis 3. These results have an interdisciplinary significance in that entrepreneurship preparation education can play an important role in learners’ entrepreneurial decision by having them display the potential and creativity as prospective entrepreneurs to practically help them relieve entrepreneurial anxiety through education on learning contents that attract them. In addition, it is expected to be an important factor that can remove their entrepreneurial anxiety and raise their entrepreneurial decision by simulating in advance not only theoretical knowledge, but also funding and marketing factors in an actual environment of entrepreneurship.
