사교육기업의 사회적책임에 대한 인식 및 기대효과

The purpose of the study was to identify the effect of parents and workers on social responsibility of private tutoring companies on their awareness and expectations, promoting social responsibility. To this end, a survey was carried out to a group of 1,040 parents and private tutoring workers, and the results are as follows. First, the awareness of social responsibility of private tutoring companies cannot be said to be high, and private tutoring workers showed higher awareness than parents did. Second, the activities of social responsibility were to be the highest in legal responsibility, followed by ethical responsibility, economic responsibility, and charitable responsibility. Third, private tutoring companies were required a ban on promoting excessive private tutoring in the aspect of legal responsibility, a ban on abusing anxiety in ethical responsibility, a boost in employment and education service in economic responsibility, and an increase in contribution to society in charitable responsibility. Lastly, the findings on the internal obstacles to social responsibility showed that social responsibility is not considered necessary by the most, followed by ‘not important’ and ‘lack of leadership of the owner’. Research on external obstacles showed that ‘lack of the relative laws’ ranked the first, followed by ‘lack of government and education department’, and ‘lack of attention from social members’. Also, the results of the analysis of expected effects of private tutoring companies on social responsibility were divided into non-financial effects, such as reliability and reputation, and financial effects, such as intention of enrollment and employment. This research is meaningful in that the social responsibility of private tutoring companies can improve the performance of the company and mitigate the private tutoring issues simultaneously.
