IPA분석을 통한 해양관광 레저스포츠축제의 방문객 수용태세에 관한 연구: 2019 창원전국해양레저스포츠제전을 중심으로

본 연구는 창원시에서 개최된 2019 창원전국해양레저스포츠제전을 찾은 해양레저스포츠의 잠재적인 고객이자 방문객들의 수용태세를 파악하고 개선할 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하기 위한 목적으로 실시되었다. 먼저 중요도-성취도(IPA) 분석에 따른 각 사분면에 도출된 분석결과를 토대로 향후 창원전국해양레저스포츠제전의 방문객의 수용태세 개선 방안을 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중요도와 성취도가 모두 높은 단기관점의 집중개발형으로 예산투입 등 절대 우선순위에 해당되는 1사분면에서는 축제와 어울리는 행사, 전시의 전반적 운영수준, 전시의 시설수준, 참가업체의 제품수준, 안내요원의 친절성, 주차편리성, 화장실 청결성 등이 도출되어, 행사 주제에 부합한 프로그램과 전시운영을 하고 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 둘째, 중요도가 높은 반면에 성취도가 낮게 나타나는 집중개선방안에 해당하는 2사분면에는 전시공간과 실외 공간 모두 휴식이나 상담을 위한 공간이 충분히 배치되어야 할 것으로 판단되며, 사전홍보를 강화해야 할 필요가 있다. 또한 방문객들이 다양한 프로그램과 프로그램의 재미를 기대하는 것으로 분석되어 방문객들의 욕구를 충족시킬 수 있는 축제와 관련한 다양한 프로그램이 기획·운영되어야 할 것이다. 셋째, 낮은 중요도와 높은 성취도의 3사분면은 고관심형 잠재지속형으로써 행사장까지의 접근성, 편리한 교통편, 전시의 부스배치 및 동선, 전시진행요원의 전문성 등의 항목이 나타났는데 선택과 집중이라는 측면에서 시민과 관광객들에게 잘 알려져 있고 전시시설이 잘 갖추어져 있기 때문이라고 볼 수 있다. 넷째, 중요도와 성취도가 모두 낮은 저순위 4사분면에서는 다양한 공연프로그램, 안내요원의 지식, 안내요원의 수, 행사안내팜플렛, 안내시설(안내소, 표지판), 노약자 및 장애인 편의시설 등이 나타나고 있는데 안내부분을 강화하기 위해 방문객들이 쉽게 접할 수 있도록 해양레저스포츠에 대한 정보를 얻는데 불편함이 없도록 안내부분운영에 좀 더 노력을 해야 할 것으로 보인다.
Abstract
This study was conducted with the aim of providing basic data to identify and improve the acceptance status of visitors and potential customers of marine leisure sports who visited the 2019 Changwon National Marine Leisure Sports Festival held in Changwon. First, based on the analysis results derived from each quadrant based on the importance-performance (IPA) analysis, the measures to improve the acceptance status of visitors at the Changwon National Marine Leisure Sports Festival are as follows. First, in the first quadrant, which is an intensive development of short-term institutions with both high importance and achievement, which is an absolute priority such as budget injection, the overall operational level of the festival, the level of the facilities in the exhibition, the product level of the participants, the kindness of the guide, parking convenience, cleanliness of the toilet, etc. were derived, and programs and exhibition operation were found to be in accordance with the theme of the event. Second, it is deemed that there should be sufficient space for both exhibition and outdoor spaces for relaxation and counseling in the two quarters corresponding to the intensive improvement plan that appears to be of high importance while low achievement, and it is necessary to strengthen advance publicity. In addition, various programs related to the festival should be planned and operated, which can be analyzed as expecting visitors to have the fun of various programs and meet visitors' needs. Third, the three quadrants of low importance and high achievement are high-interested potentials, with items such as access to the venue, convenient transportation, exhibition booths layout and movement lines, and the expertise of exhibition staff, which are well-known to citizens and tourists in terms of choice and concentration, and are well-equipped with exhibition facilities. Fourth, in the low-priority quadrant, both of which have low levels of importance and achievement, various performance programs, knowledge of the guide, number of guide staff, event information pamphlets, information facilities (Guided Information Center, signposts), and convenience facilities for the elderly and the disabled are expected to make more efforts to operate the guide so that visitors can easily access information about marine leisure sports.
