통일에 대한 지각된 편익이 북한관광의도에 미치는 영향

본 연구에서는 경제적 편익, 사회·정치적 편익, 외교적 편익이 통일과 북한의 태도에 미치는 영향 을 분석하고, 나아가 통일에 대해 지각된 편익이 북한의 호기심과 관광의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 경제적 편익과 사회·정치적 편익은 각각 통일에 대한 태도와 북한에 대한 태도에 유의한 정의 영향을 미쳤 다. 또한, 통일과 북한에 대한 긍정적 태도가 북한에 대한 호기심을 높이고, 더 나아가 북한관광의도에 유의 한 정의 영향을 미치는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 조절변수로서 인구통계학적 요인에 따른 차이에는 남성이 여성보다, 소득이 높은 사람이 소득이 낮은 사람보다 경제적 편익의 영향을 더 크게 받았으며, 여성이 남성 보다, 40대 미만이 40대 이상보다 사회·정치적 편익의 영향을 더 크게 받았다. 외교적 편익에 있어서는, 남성이 여성보다, 소득이 낮은 사람이 소득이 높은 사람보다 더 큰 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 통일에 대한 국민들의 긍정적 태도를 위해서는 통일로 인해 기대되는 경제적인 편익을 강조하 되, 북한에 대한 긍정적 태도를 높이기 위해서는 통일로 인해 기대되는 사회·정치적 편익을 강조할 필요성이 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 통일과 북한에 대한 태도가 부정적일 경우 북한에 대한 관심과 관광행동의도가 떨어질 수 있기 때문에, 북한관광재개 시점에서 원활한 관광사업 추진을 위해서는 통일과 북한에 대한 국민 들의 긍정적인 인식을 제고시키는 것이 중요해 보인다. 본 연구는 향후 남북관광교류협력 정책을 위한 방향 성을 수립하는데 실질적으로 기여할 것이라 기대한다.
Abstract
In this study, the effects of economic, social and political benefits, and diplomatic benefits on unification and North Korea's attitude were analyzed, and further, the effects of these perceived benefits on the curiosity of North Korea and tourism intention were investigated. Economic and social and political benefits had a significant positive effect on attitudes toward unification and North Korea, respectively. In addition, it was confirmed that a positive attitude toward unification and North Korea increased curiosity toward North Korea, and further, had a significant positive effect on North Korea's tourism intention. The moderating roles of demographic factors were confirmed: men were more affected by economic benefits than women, and those with high incomes were more affected by economic benefits than those with low incomes. Also, it was found that men were more affected by political and diplomatic benefits than women; also, those with low incomes were more affected than those with high incomes. The findings of this study suggest that it is necessary to emphasize the economic benefits expected from unification for positive attitude toward unification, but emphasize the social and political benefits expected from unification for a positive attitude toward North Korea. If the attitude toward reunification and North Korea is negative, the interest in North Korea and the intention of tourism may decline, so a positive attitude seems important in im- plementing the South-North Korea tourism business This study is expected to contribute substantially to establishing the direction for future inter-Korean tourism business and cooperation policies.
