소상공인 보증지원과 경영성과: 서울지역을 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of guarantee support for small business owner in Seoul on business performance. This study analyzed 1,375 data that received guarantee support of start-up fund, start-up education, start-up consulting and follow-up management from the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation from 2016 to 2019. The results of the regression analysis are as follows. First, the male founder, the higher the founder's age, the restaurant industry had a positive effect on sales amount. And the higher the total assets, the higher the rent, the more positive the sales amount. Second, the male founder, business location in eastern Seoul had a positive effect on net income amount. Also the higher the total asset, the higher the rent, the more positive the net income amount. Third, the male founder, business location in eastern Seoul had a positive effect on the return on investment. Also the higher the rent, the more positive the return on investment. This study may include the following implications for enhancing business performance with small business owner‘s guarantee support. First, in order to strengthen the capabilities of female entrepreneurs, policies on management support services centered on female businesses should be established and implemented to provide intensive education. Second, it is necessary to find small business owners eligible for support and expand funding and consulting support so that small business owners can continue to grow. Third, education and consulting supply should be sufficient for each industry, each area to strengthen management's capabilities, such as commercial area analysis services, business plan preparation, financing, and marketing strategies.
