중소･중견기업 패키징 지원사업의 효과분석

[Purpose] The World Class 300 support project is a representative SMEs packaging support project. This paper aims to present the necessity of a support policy in the form of packaging by analyzing the performance of the support project. [Methodology] Through PSM, a group of companies selected for World Class 300 and a comparative group are formed. Each hypothesis is tested through regression analysis. [Findings] As a result of the analysis, the selection of World Class 300 has a significantly positive (＋) effect on the sales growth rate. In the case of R&D support, on the contrary, it has a significantly negative (－) effect on the sales growth rate. In the case of global marketing support, there is no statistically significant effect, but it is found that the effect of R&D support is moderated in a significantly positive direction by global marketing support. [Policy Implications] It is meaningful that the effect of the World Class 300 support project was analyzed according to the type of support. This suggests that support in the form of packaging is complementary and effective compared to the support in the form of simple funding. This provides implications for the government’s corporate support policy plans in the future.
