스마트폰 녹음 데이터베이스의 법과학적 활용에 대한 연구

With the popularization of smartphone recording, smartphone recording files are recently submitted as major evidence in the field of audio forensics, and the case of forgery or authentication of recording has become an issue. Recording methods and recording settings may be different for each smartphone manufacturer, model, and operating system, and accordingly, metadata such as file information of a smartphone recording file may be different. In this study, we collected original recordings and edited recordings using 12 Samsung Galaxy smartphones of various types, and the recording method, editing function and characteristics of edited recordings were analyzed by model and operating system. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that the recording method and editing function such as recording mode and recording quality are different depending on the model and operating system (Android version) of the same manufacturer, and the file information and file structure of edited recordings are different from those of original recordings. Based on this, the necessity of building a recording database of various smartphones and an analysis of forgery or authentication of recordings were suggested.
