육아휴직 후 복직한 직장어린이집 보육교사의 교사발달에 관한 연구

본 연구는 육아휴직 후 복직한 직장어린이집 보육교사들이 교사발달과정에서 어떠한 경험을 통해 성장해 나가는지 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 5년 이상의 보육경력과 최소 6개월의 육아휴직을 경험하고 복직한 D광역시에 근무하고 6인의 교사를대상으로 9주간 심층 개별 면담, 전화면담으로 6회씩 총 12회 면담하여 수집된 자료를 분석하였다. 분석한 결과에 따르면, 복직 후일과 가정의 양립의 과정에서 마주하게 되는 혼란과 어려움, 엄마와 교사로서의 갈등관계, 직장에서는 달라진 직책과 업무에 대한적응의 어려움을 경험하였다. 점차 엄마와 교사로서 균형을 유지하면서서 출산과 육아휴직 경험이주는 긍정적 의미를 발견하고 교직에 대한 소중함과 만족감, 나아가 교사로서의 발달적 변화에 긍정적 영향을 주는 의미를 발견할 수 있게 되었다. 이는 복직과정에서 어려움을 경험하는 교사들을 이해하는데 실직적인 도움을 줄 것이며, 현장에서의 복직교사를 지원하는 현실적인 대안을 마련하는데 기초자료로서의 의의를 가질 것이다.
Abstract
In this study, we wanted to find out what kind of experiences daycare teachers who returned to work after parental leave grow through in the process of teacher development. To this end, the collected data were analyzed by interviewing six in-depth individual interviews and six telephone interviews for six teachers who worked in D Metropolitan City after more than five years of childcare experience and at least six months of parental leave. Gradually, while maintaining balance as a mother and a teacher, we were able to discover the positive meaning given by the experience of childbirth and parental leave, and to discover the importance and satisfaction of teaching, and to further influence the developmental change as a teacher. This will help teachers who experience difficulties in the reinstatement process, and it will be meaningful as a basis for establishing a system to support these reinstatement teachers.
