실내디자인 전공자를 대상으로 한 가구디자인 프로젝트 개발과 교과목 적용사례

This paper aims to study on development and examples of applications of furniture design projects for interior design majors. Due to the characteristics of the interior design major, students often recognize the materials and constructions only as digital images. We believed that furniture design projects were able to compensate for the problems. The projects developed by various directions, and this study holds 2 as the examples for this research. They are furni ture as a sitting construction, and furniture which is expressing the concept with the nature of the materials. Specifically, there are body support for 3rd year students, and the projects with nature of materials from newspapers, books, bamboo, and art supplies for 4th year students. Details of the students’ works of each projects are described on chapter 3 and 4. The con clusion of this study is not an objection to prior research or new discovery, but analysis of the contents, application cases, and results of the projects developed by researcher for ongoing stud ies on this subject.
