This article first reviews the possibility of imposing US sanctions and further examines the applicable sanctions by the US government against the Myanmar military. It also analyzes the form of new sanctions and the applicability of existing sanctions against the Myanmar military. Although many domestic companies and banks conduct international transactions with foreign companies, they often overlook economic sanctions in the countries to which the other company belongs. The companies prevent the sanctions only after they face significant losses caused by the sanctions. It is important to note that domestic companies and banks must recognize the existence and importance of sanctions and take preventive measures associated with these sanctions.
