비정규직 유아 특별활동 교사의 상대적 박탈감, 직업정체성, 교사효능감의 구조적 관계 연구
Structural Relationships among Relative Deprivation, Job Identity, and Teacher Efficacy for Part-time Extracurricular Activity Teachers

이 연구의 목적은 코로나-19로 인해 비정규직 유아 특별활동 교사의 상대적 박탈감, 직업정체성, 교사효능감의 관계를 살펴보고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여, 서울과 경기도(수원, 화성, 안산, 용인, 이천)에 소재한 유아교육기관에서 특별활동 수업을 진행하고 있는 교사 201명에게 관련 설문지를 통해 자료를 수집하고 분석하였다. 먼저 상대적 박탈감의 하위요소가 직업정체성에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과 인지적 박탈감, 감정적 박탈감, 행동의도 박탈감 모두 직업정체성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었으며, 유아 특별활동 교사의 상대적 박탈감의 하위요소가 교사효능감에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과 감정적 박탈감이 교사효능감에 미치는 영향은 유의하였으나 인지적 박탈감과 행동의도 박탈감은 유의하지 않았다. 마지막으로 유아 특별활동 교사의 직업정체성이 교사효능감에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과 직업정체성이 향상되면 교사효능감이 높아진다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이 연구의 결과는 지금까지 비정규직 유아 특별활동 교사를 대상으로 거의 이루어지지 않았던 직업정체성에 대한 연구를 실시함으로써 상대적 박탈감이 직업정체성과 교사효능감에 영향을 미친다는 것을 밝힘으로써 코로나-19로 인하여 어려움을 겪고 있는 비정규직 유아 특별활동 교사의 교사효능감을 높이기 위한 다양한 측면을 살펴볼 수 있는 기초자료를 제공할 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to understand the effect of the relative deprivation of part-time extracurricular activities teachers on the job identity and teacher-efficacy caused by COVID-19. In order to conduct this research, data were collected and analyzed through questionnaires from 201 teachers who are teaching extracurricular activities at early childhood education institutions in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do (Suwon, Hwaseong, Ansan, Yongin, and Icheon). Firstly, as a result of examining the effect of the sub-factors of relative deprivation on job identity, it was found that cognitive deprivation, emotional deprivation, and deprivation of behavioral intention all influence job identity. The effect of emotional deprivation on teacher efficacy was significant, but cognitive deprivation and intention deprivation were not significant. Lastly, as a result of examining the effect of the job identity of the extracurricular activities teachers on the teacher-efficacy, it was found that the improvement of the job identity increases the teacher-efficacy. The result of this research, conducting research on the job identity that has been rarely conducted for extracurricular activities teachers by far, revealed that the relative deprivation affects the job identity and the teacher-efficacy of the part-time extracurricular activities teachers. This study will provide basic data to examine various aspects to increase the teacher-efficacy of extracurricular activities teachers.
