A Study on the Alliance Model between Shippers and Logistics Company in Global E-Commerce Markets: Focused on USA E-Commerce Market

Due to pandemic caused by Covid-19, untact business has grown rapidly. So it has been increasing demand on e-commerce industry. In this circumstance, many small & medium sized enterpirses(SMEs) are paying more attention and interest to oversea e-commerce market to expand their market. However, due to limited resources, SMEs have a little knowledge or experience of global e-commerce market. Introducing their products and delivering them to global e-commerce market is challenging. Thus, it is necessary to enter the market with an experiencd logistics firm to mitigate uncertainty. This study examined a case of alliance model between SMEs and logistics companies that are entering the USA e-commerce market. The study analyzed the latest trend of the USA e-commerce market and examined companies that introduced their product to Amazon successfully to derive key success factors (KSF). From this analysis, we suggested strategies to enter the USA e-commerce market with alliance models.
