일본 시민운동과 문학 네트워크 -「헌법9조모임」을 중심으로

초록
일본의 ‘전쟁 영구포기’를 명문화한 헌법 제9조 수정에 반대하고자 문학자 및 저명인 9인의 2004년 기자회견으로부터 ‘헌법 9조 모임’은 시작되었다. 가토 슈이치, 오다 마코토, 이노우에 히사시, 오에 겐자부로 등 문학자들이 중심이 된 ‘헌법 9조 모임’은 일본 전역으로 확대되어 약 7500개가 넘는 지역 모임으로 발전하였다. 강연과 출판물, 뉴스레터를 활용하여 현재에 이르고 있다. 일본 시민운동의 한 축인 반전・평화운동의 궤적 속에서 ‘헌법 9조 모임’의 역할과 특수성을 가토 슈이치를 중심으로 하는 전략적 상호행동으로 파악하고, 초기 설립자들의 텍스트를 시기별로 비교하여 살펴보았다. 9.11테러와 고도경제성장 이후 장기 경제침체로 이어진 2000년대의 복합적인 상황이 교차하는 점에 주목하여, 고령의 문학자들이 추구하고자 했던 60년 안보투쟁 세대와 젊은 세대 간의 연대, 문학자간 연대를 지향하는 문학 네트워크의 목표 속에서 ‘헌법9조 모임’의 특징을 파악할 수 있었다. 3.11이후 원전반대 시위와 연합하여 젊은 세대의 참여를 이끌어냈지만, 지속적인 ‘9조 모임’ 활동으로 이어지기 어려운 현실의 원인을 전후 세대 문학자들의 고착된 현대 문학사의 사상적 배경으로부터 찾아보려는 시도이다.
Abstract
The gathering for Article 9 of the Constitution and the new anti-nuclear civic movement were actively engaged in literary networks. Some notable features include avoiding alliances with certain political parties, and the organizers were experts and intellectuals in each field. The fact that the majority of the first nine organizers of Article 9 Constitution, led by Shuichi Kato, were intellectuals deeply related to literature had a significant impact on these networks. While tracing the anti-war and peace movements that form one major axis in the history of the Japanese citizens' movement, the role and characteristics of the Article 9 Association are grasped as a network as a strategy centered on Shuichi Kato, and the initial callers. We compared and analyzed our texts from time to time. It revealed the situation after the September 11 attacks, the situation in the 2000s after the bubble burst, the solidarity between the security generation and the young generation, and the literary network attempted by the writers of the post-war generation.
