한국전통 단청문양을 응용한 헤어아트디자인 연구

초록
단청문양은 한국의 문화유산으로 전통적 정서와 감성을 담고 있으며 아름다운 색채와 뛰어난 조형감각은 세계적으로 가치를 높게 평가받고 있다. 최근 K-beauty 산업의 세계적 확장과 더불어 한국전통문양에 대한 관심이 고조되면서 단청문양을 응용한 디자인이 다양한 분야에서 연구되고 있지만 단순히 소재만의 적용일 뿐 이를 현대적으로 해석하는 경우는 많지 않은 형편이다. 이에 본 연구는 한국전통 단청문양 중 연화문의 특징을 현대적 감각으로 재해석하여 헤어아트 작품을 제작하고자 하며, 단청문양에 대한 다양한 분야의 선행연구를 고찰한 후, 단청문양 중 연화문을 중심으로 헤어아트 디자인에 있어 민족 고유의 정체성과 상징성을 반영하여, 평면적인 연화문을 모티브로 삼아 입체적, 조형적 방식으로 접근하여 총 4개의 헤어아트 작품을 연화문의 평면적이고 단순한 형태를 입면, 입체투시법을 이용하여 입체적이고 모던한 형태로 재구성할 수 있었으며. 연화문 본래의 색채를 현대적으로 재해석하여 작품의 미적 조형성을 구현하였다. 향후 연구에서는 본 연구에서 사용한 연화문 외에 다양한 단청문양을 모티브로 한 현대적 작품연구가 진행되기를 바라고, 헤어 컬러링, 헤어 업스타일 등 실용적 분야의 연구도 진행된다면 한국문화의 아름다움을 알릴 수 있는 기회가 확대되리라 사료된다.
Abstract
The Dancheong pattern is a Korean cultural heritage that exhibits traditional emotions and sensibilities beautiful colors and excellent sculptural sense are highly valued across the world. Recently, with the global expansion of the K-beauty industry and the growing interest in Korean traditional patterns, the Dancheong designs have gained prominence in various fields. However, these only and are often not interpreted in the modern context. Thus, this study reinterprets the characteristics of the lotus gate traditional Korean Dancheong patterns in the modern context of hair art. This study considered prior research on the Dancheong pattern in various fields, and produced a total of four hair art works centering on softening the Korean traditional patterns. This study focuses on hair as a material, and the art is produced in elevation, planar, and stereoscopic techniques by modernizing its aesthetic form. The original color of the lotus gate was reinterpreted in a modern perspective to realize the aesthetic formability of the work.
