Textile Design Development using Korean Paleolith Hand Axe Patterns

Hand axes have long been formal, functional, and aesthetic meanings, reflecting the times of the Paleolithic culture, society, and economic development. The developed texture pattern is a commercially available design that analyzes the shape of a fist axe and develops a hand axes pattern based on the process to adapt the shape of the hand axe to the Gestalt design theory and design principles. An opportunity arose to propose a new product design. Various design developments of hand axes of the Neolithic Period were proposed, and not only hand axes themselves will be commercialized, but also various patterns will be developed and applied to provide a unique and diverse development methods.
