임차가구 특성에 따른 소비지출 차이에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to identify characteristics of low income households with limited income inflows by the type of housing tenure through their expenditure. As it is expected that expenditure of low-income households that pay monthly rent is impacted by the expense, their expenditure would be quite different from that of households who rent a house under the Jeonse system. Therefore, this study investigates differences in expenditure of low-income households under two different lease systems and analyzes effects of the household’s characteristics on their expenditures. According to the findings, it is confirmed that low-income households that pay monthly rent have higher total expenditure than households under the Jeonse system. In details, the former spends less money on food and medical expenses than the latter. On the other hand, households that pay rent monthly spend more money on housing and education expenses. The difference in housing expenses reflects the fact that Jeonse households do not need pay monthly rent. The medical and education expenses showed fluctuated results depending on household member’s age. This can be said to be the result that reflects the characteristics of low-income households that rent a house under both lease systems.
