다목적지 여행 패턴과 만족도, 재방문의도, 그리고 추천의도 사이의 연관

This study investigates the associations between multi-destination travel patterns and post-trip evaluation (i.e., satisfaction, recommend intention, and revisit intention). The survey for this study was conducted on visitors who visited a destination in North Carolina, USA. A total of 396 valid data were utilized for the analysis by using the statistic software SPSS 21.0. The results of this study are summarized as follows: First, the chi-square test indicates that physical distance was significantly associated with the multi-destination travel patterns. Second, the independent sample t-test result confirms that the mean scores of satisfaction, revisit intention, and recommendation intention was likely to depend on the physical distance. Finally, this study also found significant differences in the mean scores of satisfaction and recommendation intention among the multi-destination travel patterns(i.e., single destination travel pattern, en route travel pattern, base camp pattern, regional tour pattern, and trip chaining pattern), while no significant difference was identified regarding revisit intention. Results of this study provide several theoretical and practical implications for multi-destination travel patterns, which can be associated with post-trip evaluation.
