학교 노동인권교육의 운영 실태와 문제점 : 부산광역시 중고등학교를 중심으로

The study aims to grasp the current state of labor rights education and to identify problems arising in the process of operating labor rights education. To this end, we conducted a survey on teachers and students of middle and high schools in Busan, which is in the initial institutionalization of labor rights education in schools, and conducted in-depth interviews with teachers, students, instructors, and school supervisors. According to the analysis, the education of labor rights in schools is rapidly being institutionalized around vocational high schools. However, various kinds of problems have emerged in the management of education. In the case of vocational high schools, labor rights education was conducted in a formal manner, or differences in the quality of classes were evident depending on the instructor in charge. In addition, the following problems were found in middle and general high schools: insufficient teacher training and class hours, weak connection with official curriculum, and lack of related textbooks or contents. And it was difficult to establish and implement appropriate support policies due to frequent replacement and lack of expertise of the officials in charge of the Office of Education. This study presented problems revealed in these operational conditions and derived tasks necessary for the revitalization of labor rights education in schools.
