임파워링 리더십과 실패를 통한 학습이 발언 행동에 미치는 영향: 심리적 안정감의 매개효과

Employee voice behavior is an important source of corporate competitiveness. By encouraging employees to speak out their opinions and share ideas, companies can find out latent problems looking for solutions and generate ideas to overcome challenges. This research analyzed the effects of empowering leadership and learning from failures on employee voice behavior, and examined the effects of empowering leadership and learning from failures on voice behavior, as mediated by psychological safety. By analyzing the data collected from 196 korean employees, this study obtains the findings as follows. First, empowering leadership affected employee voice behavior positively, and the relationship was mediated by psychological safety indirectly. Second, learning from failures did not affect employee voice behavior significantly, but psychological safety mediated the relationship between learning from failures and employee voice behavior. The findings of this study suggest that organizations would benefit from actively managing work-environment factors that may affect employee voice behaviors. Further implications, limitations and recommendations are provided.
