기술수준에 따른 서비스업 혁신 중소기업의 생존기간 비교분석

약 22,500개의 서비스업 혁신 중소기업을 대상으로기술수준에 따른 생존기간을 분석하였다. 생존기간은 연체 및 부도의 발생으로정의하였으며, 기술수준은 기술력 우수기업 군집(T1-T4등급)과 혁신금융 적합기업군집(T5-T6등급)으로 구분하였다. 카플란-마이어 분석을 통해 기술수준에 따른 생존기간을추정한 결과 연체와 부도 모두에서 T1-T4등급 서비스업 혁신 중소기업의 추정 생존기간이T5-T6등급 서비스업 혁신 중소기업에 비해 유의하게 큰 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한기술수준의 생존기간에 대한 영향력이 통제변수를 적용했을 때에도 유지되는지 Cox비례위험 모형을 통해 확인하였다. 분석 결과 창업기업군(업력 7년 이하)에서는 기술수준이낮을수록 위험도가 증가하는 것으로 확인되었지만, 非창업기업군(업력 7년 초과)에서는기술수준이 생존기간에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하며 기업의 규모와 관련된 변수의 영향력이커지는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 기술수준은 서비스업 창업기업군에서 혁신 중소기업의생존기간에 유의한 영향력이 있는 부가정보로 의미가 있으며, 서비스업 창업기업군의중소기업 지원정책 및 육성정책 수립 시 기술수준에 대한 반영이 필요하다는 결론을도출하였다.
Abstract
The survival period according to technological capability was analyzedfor about 22,500 innovative SMEs in the service industry. The survival period wasdefined as the occurrence of overdue and default, and the technological capabilitywas divided into two clusters. As a result of estimating the survival period accordingto technological capability through Kaplan-Meier analysis, it was confirmed thatthe estimated survival period of T1-T4 grade service innovative SMEs wassignificantly greater in both overdue and default. As a result of the analysis ofthe Cox proportional hazard model applying the control variable, it was confirmedthat the higher technological capability, the lower the risk in the group of start-upcompanies. However, in the group of non-start-up companies the technologicalcapability did not significantly affect the survival period, and the influence of thevariables related to the size of the company was found to increase. Therefore, thetechnological capability is meaningful as additional information that has a significanteffect on the survival period of innovative SMEs in the start-up companies groupof service industry. In addition, it was concluded that it is necessary to reflectthe technological capability when establishing the SME support and promotion policyof the start-up companies group in the service industry.
