즉시연금보험 사건의 법적 쟁점 -하급심판결의 검토를 중심으로-

It seems that the insurance industry was shocked by the results of the lawsuit related to immediate annuity insurance, which was recently sentenced. Immediate annuity insurance is a financial product in which customers pay a large sum of money as a premium to an insurance company and receive a certain amount of insurance from the insurance company on a regular basis in the form of an annuity. Recently, the results of the first trial began to be sentenced in connection with the immediate annuity insurance case, and a total of five sentences have been made so far. Four out of five cases were won by the policyholder, who is the customer, and one case was won by the insurance company. Considering the nature of the instant annuity insurance case in which insurance companies designed products with similar structures and sold them to customers, the outcome of the relevant lawsuit may have a direct impact on other customers who subscribe to similar products and on insurance companies that sell them. Therefore, it is thought that arranging and analyzing judgment contents from the stage prior to the finalization of the judgment regarding immediate annuity insurance-related cases will have an important impact not only on the case, but also on the review of related cases that may follow.
