초록
본 연구는 연구개발 활동의 성과로 창출된 지식재산에 대한 국내 중소기업의 운영 효율을통합적 관점에서 조사하였다. 또한 기존 연구와는 달리 IP 중심의 투입 및 산출 요소로 활용한 다단계 DEA 모델을 통해 국내 중소기업의 IP 기반의 R&D 활동의 구조적 메커니즘을제시하고자 한다. R&D 활동의 성과로 창출된 IP 중심의 효율성 분석이라는 점에서 기존 연구와는 차별화될 수 있으며, 1단계 기술 성과와 2단계 시장성과로 확대되는 프로세스의 특성을 반영한 DEA 모델을 적용하였다. 국내 중소기업은 특허의 기술성과(1단계)가 특허의 시장성과(2단계)보다 높은 점으로 중소기업 R&D 활동의 효율성 분석 결과 이들 중소기업은특허를 중심으로 R&D 성과로서 활동을 수행하고 있으며, 이러한 성과를 이러한 성과를 경제 성과와 비즈니스 모델로 확대하는 역량이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 바이오/제약 분야의기업으로 R&D 활동을 성과로 나타나는 기술성과와 시장성과 모두 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석 결과를 바탕으로 중소기업의 IP-R&D 활동 4가지 유형을 제시하였다.
Abstract
This study investigated the operational efficiency of small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs) in Korea from an integrated perspective on knowledge property generated by the performance of R&D activities. In addition, we intend to present a structural mechanism of Patent Strategy activities of domestic SMEs through a Multi-level DEA model used as an Patent-centered input and output factors. It can be differentiated from existing research in that it is an IP-oriented efficiency analysis created by the performance of R&D activities, and a DEA model that reflects the characteristics of the process that extends to first-stage technical performance and second-stage market performance is applied. The efficiency analysis of R&D activities of SMEs shows that they are performing R&D activities based on patents, which requires the ability to expand these achievements to economic and business models. The most efficient field is a company in the field of bio/pharmaceuticals, and it is found that both technology and marketability, which show R&D activities as achievements, are excellent. In addition, this study presented 4 types of IP-R&D activities in SMEs based on such analysis results.
