A Study on the Business Model of Franchise

The franchise industry has been developed through the establishment of the franchise system with new management techniques that were developed in the U.S. in the early 20th century and brought technological innovation using standardized systems and manuals. Franchises can generally be seen as one of the marketing and distribution methods for two legally independent parties, the franchiseheadquartersandfranchisees,toexecuteunderthecontract. In this study, the purpose of the study is to derive implications for successful business model establishment through franchise business analysis. First, we would like to consider the concept of franchises.Second,we wouldlike tofindout theformof the franchise.Third,analyze thesuccess requirementsofthefranchise.Fourth,wewouldliketoderiveresearchresultsandimplications. To summarize the research results, first, communication functions are important to accurately explain the terms of the contract between the headquarters and the franchise owner, and the franchise headquartersshouldinformtheprospectivefranchise ownerof theinformation. Second,in terms of the development function of franchisees, the headquarters shall emphasize the exact investigation of the location and commercial area of franchisees as the duty of the headquarters. Third, as a factor for the success of franchisees, franchisees should provide regular job training, such as regular training, to improve the quality of service of employees. In particular, regular training should help foster job performance skills and management innovation skills sufficiently in relationtothedevelopmentofstandardizedworkperformancemanuals.
