In this study, the influence of cultural intelligence recognized by foreign workers in Korea on job embedded- ness and job crafting and the mediating role of job embeddedness were confirmed. For this purpose, the research hypothesis was verified as follows through the SPSS WIN 21.0 statistical program and AMOS 21.0 for the final 196 copies of domestic foreign workers engaged in the nonwoven industry and general manufacturing industry. First, in the relationship between cultural intelligence and job crafting, hypothesis 1, the cultural intelligence’s metacogni- tive cultural intelligence, cognitive cultural intelligence, motivational cultural intelligence, and behavioral cultural intelligence all showed a positive (+) effect on job crafting. Second, sub-factors of cultural intelligence, such as metacognitive cultural intelligence, cognitive cultural intelligence, motivational cultural intelligence, and behavioral cultural intelligence, showed a positive effect on job embeddedness. Third, job embeddedness was shown to have a positive (+) effect on job crafting. Fourth, it was found that there is a partial mediating effect of job embedded- ness in the relationship between cultural intelligence and job crafting. Therefore, all established hypotheses 1 to 4 were accepted. In other words, for the advancement of the organization’s sustainable management system, the importance and necessity of cultural intelligence awareness was emphasized in the change of the multicultural busi- ness environment, which is newly emerging due to the continuous increase of foreign workers. Accordingly, a new approach to the cultural intelligence of foreign workers was required for the organization’s executives, managers, leaders, and practitioners. In order to improve job crafting and job embeddedness recognized by foreign workers, it is necessary to promote sustainability management through a change in cultural intelligence perception. For this, the development of a systematic capacity building program and the continuity of its execution were required.
