프리랜서의 직업적 만족도에 미치는 요인에 관한 실증분석과 정책적 함의

This study empirically examines the situation of freelancers in Korea in five aspects, such as spontaneity in choosing a job, whether it is a major source of income, control over one's own work, an organization to solve difficulties as a single entrepreneur, unfairness in the freelance market, and social insurance subscription. As a result of analyzing survey data on freelancers in Gyeonggi-do in 2020, it was confirmed that the proportions of involuntary freelancers and of freelancers as the main source of income for freelancers in Korea were relatively higher than those of the United States and Western Europe. In addition, as a result of analyzing the job satisfaction of freelancers using the ordered probit model, it is statistically significant that respondents who voluntarily chose a freelance job, freelancers who control their own work, and organizations necessary to solve the difficulties of freelancers are higher than their counterparts while the job satisfaction of freelancers not enrolled in social insurance such as employment insurance and industrial accident insurance, and of freelancers who strongly perceived that unfair contract practices in the freelancer market would be statistically and significantly lower than their counterparts. Finally, this study presented the policy implications of these empirical analysis results.
