기술창업기업 성과 영향요인: 혁신역량의 매개효과를 중심으로
Factors Influencing the Performance of Technology-based Start-ups : Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Innovation Capability

본 연구는 기술창업기업의 성과 영향요인으로 최고경영자의 특성(사전지식, 자기효능감), 조직(기업가지향성, 혁신역 량), 환경측면(지역혁신지원) 등을 다차원에서 규명한다. 기술창업기업의 특성을 반영하여 혁신역량의 매개효과를 중심 으로 분석한다. 실증분석을 위해 연구개발특구 내 설립된 연구소기업을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였다. 설문조사는 2019년 7월 22일부터 2019년 9월 25일까지 이루어졌으며, 229건의 설문을 회수, 최종적으로 148건의 설문결과를 대상으로 구조방정식 모델 중 경로분석 모델을 사용하여 가설을 검증하였다. 실증분석 결과 첫째, 기업가지향성, 사전지식, 자기효능감, 지역혁신 지원은 혁신역량에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 둘 째 기업가지향성과, 지역혁신 지원, 혁신역량은 기업의 성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 셋째, 기업가지향성, 사전지식, 자기효능감, 지역혁신 지원은 혁신역량을 매개하여 기업성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 실증분석 결과를 바탕으로 사전지식과 자기효능감을 갖춘 기업가의 발굴, 기술창업기업의 기업가지향성과 혁신역량 강화를 위한 효과적인 기술사업화 지원의 필요성에 대한 정책적 시사점을 제시하였다.
Abstract
This study analyzes the effect of entrepreneurial orientation, prior knowledge, self-efficacy, and regional innovation support on the performance of technology-based start-ups by mediating innovation capabilities. For empirical analysis, a survey was conducted targeting Research Institute Spin-off Company in INNOPOLIS. 229 questionnaires were collected, and finally, the hypothesis was verified using the path analysis model among the structural equation models for the 148 questionnaire results. Analysis Results First, entrepreneurial orientation, prior knowledge, self-efficacy, and regional innovation support have a positive effect on innovation capability. Second, entrepreneurial orientation, regional innovation support, and innovation capability have a positive effect on corporate performance. Third, it was confirmed that entrepreneurial orientation, prior knowledge, self-efficacy, and regional innovation support mediate innovation capability and have a positive effect on corporate performance. Based on the results of empirical analysis, this study presented policy implications to support the vitalization of Research Institute Spin-off Company.
