청소년의 또래갈등조정 참여의지에 미치는 규범문화배경과 조정자 신뢰의 영향

이 연구는 비공식적 조정을 중심으로 갈등해결 과정에 대한 갈등당사자의 적극적인 참여를 촉진할 수 있는 방안을 모색하기 위한 연구이다. 선행 연구 분석을 토대로 참여의지, 비공식적 조정, 규범문화배경, 조정자 신뢰를 개념화･유형화하고 중학생을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하여 시사점을 도출하였다. 연구 결과를 통해 갈등해결방법과 갈등해결교육에 대해 다음과 같은 시사점을 제시하였다. 첫째, 청소년 개인의 규범문화배경에 따라 또래조정 및 교사조정 참여의지가 달라질 수 있으므로 갈등당사자의 규범문화배경을 고려하여 참여의지가 높은 갈등해결방법을 선정･구성해야 한다. 둘째, 또래조정자 또는 교사조정자를 신뢰할수록 또래조정 또는 교사조정 참여의지가 강화되므로 청소년과 교사가 조정자로서의 신뢰를 얻을 수 있도록 교육기회가 제공되어야 한다. 셋째, 또래조정자 및 교사조정자 신뢰는 하위요소별로 각각 다른 조절효과를 나타내므로 특정 규범문화배경을 가진 갈등당사자의 또래조정 또는 교사조정 참여의지를 촉진하기 위해 또래친구 또는 교사가 조정자로서의 신뢰 요소를 갖출 수 있도록 교육적, 실천적 방안이 마련되어야 한다.
Abstract
This study is to analyze ways to promote active participation of conflict parties in informal mediation, which is a restorative conflict resolution method and an educational method. Through the results of a survey of middle school students, the following implications were presented for peer conflict resolution. First, it is necessary to select a conflict resolution method with a high willingness to participate of conflict party and consider their normative cultural background. Second, education should be provided in which youth and teachers can gain trust as mediators. Third, educational and practical measures should be prepared so that youth or teachers can have elements of trust as mediators in order to promote the willingness to participate in mediation of conflict parties with a specific normative cultural background.
