나홀로 여행객의 여행세부일정 연결망의 특징: 제주도 지역을 사례로

Solo traveler market has been gradually expanded. This study examines how tourism contents connected each other according to travel itinerary from the perspectives of sold travelers, who visited South Korea’s Jeju Island. For achieving the purpose of this study, travel itinerary data of Jeju Tourist Information Center was used for the analyses. Of social network analysis techniques, this study performed some analyses, such as density, degree centrality, betweenness centrality, along with visualization of travel itinerary networks. Density analysis indicates the connection patterns of travel itineraries were concentrated into a few tourism contents. Results of the degree centrality analysis show that tourism contents, searched by solo travelers, were hierarchically structured by a few tourism contents. Furthermore, based on the betweenness centrality analysis, Woljeong-ri Coastal Road was identified as the anchor content which can play a key role as the central tourism content for diffusing tourists’ spatial behavior to the rest of Island. Some implications for establishing sustainable regional tourism policy and strategy through big-data analysis for solo travel market are discussed in conclusion.
