중소기업 수출지원제도가 경영성과에 미치는 영향: 내수기업 수출기업화사업 선정기업을 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the effect of the export financing support program that linked to the export initiation supporting system for SMEs on the firm performance. Based on database of SMEs provided by IBK(Industrial Bank of Korea), a pooled OLS was conducted for the period from 2016 to 2019. The results are as follows. First, financing support program was found to have a positive effect on SMEs’ export growth. Second, SMEs that receive benefits from export financing support system tend to improve their profitability (ROA, ROS, Sales growth), thereby proving the effectiveness of the export support system. Considering the importance of financial support in SMEs' overseas expansion, the results of this study are expected to be helpful for promoting SMEs’ exports and accumulating internationalization capabilities of SMEs that cannot use trade finance due to lack of export experience or cannot effectively utilize trade finance due to their low export performance.
