ESG 개념을 활용한 디지털 데이터 내러티브 교육

초록
ESG는 Environment(환경), Social(사회), Governance(거버넌스)를 가리키는 경영학 개념으로 최근 기업과 사회에 거대 흐름으로 자리 잡아가고 있다. 이는 미래 교육 역량으로 꼽히는 디지털 데이터 내러티브의 신속하고 전면적인 도입의 근거가 된다. 그동안 디지털 데이터 내러티브는 교육적 효용성을 중심으로 도입 논의가 이루어졌으나 이제는 경영학의 테제가 교육학의 실행 이론으로 작용하는 시대가 도래한 것이다. 디지털 데이터 내러티브가 ESG 개념을 활성화시킨다. 예를 들어 교육의 디지털 데이터 내러티브는 교육의 모든 활동을 디지털 디바이스로 구현하므로 물리적으로 많은 양의 종이를 아껴 ESG의 환경적 요소 ‘E’ 요소를 충족하는 교육을 할 수 있다. 또한 디지털 데이터 내러티브에서 학습자는 연결주의를 기반으로 여러 형태의 메타버스 제작에 참여하여 사회에 기여할 수 있는 결과물을 직접 만들면서 ESG의 사회적 요소 ‘S’를 익힐 수 있다. 그리고 디지털 데이터 내러티브에서 내러티브는 의사결정 과정 등이 자발적이고 민주적인 절차에 따라 운영되는지를 판단하는 ESG의 ‘G’ 거버넌스를 준비하는 항목을 준비하는 교육적 가치를 지닌다. 디지털 데이터 내러티브를 교육 현장에 전면 도입하게 되면 디지털 데이터 중심의 미래 교육 역량 신장뿐 아니라 ESG 역량의 내재화가 가능해질 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
ESG stands for Environment, Social, and Governance. ESG comes from business administration and lately it is a mega trend in industry and society, which gives a good reason why digital data narrative, so called future education capacity, should be equipped in school fast and completely. So far the adoption of digital data narrative in school has been controversial rather solely in the education scope. Now however themes of business administration serve as a practical theory in education. Digital data narrative activates ESG concepts. Digital data literacy can be a good way to carry out ‘E’, using digital devices and reducing a lot of paper in class. Besides, a student gets used to ‘S’ by participating in a variety of metaverse makings and contributing the data results that he/she made to community based on connectionism. Finally, narrative is a decision-making process that can be spontaneously and democratically operated and so ‘G’ can grow with it. Future education capacities are expected to be internalized when digital data narrative is totally used with ESG concepts together, not apart, in the educational field.
