산업기술 분야 국가연구개발 과제의 고용성과 영향요인 분석과 예측: 과제의 기술적 특징을 중심으로

Along with the recent 4th industrial revolution, there are a lot of concerns about jobless growth. As for the national R&D, enhancing the job creation is one of the most important issues. We analyze national R&D in the industrial technology through Tobin and logistic regression, detecting employment affecting factors such as technological characteristic, size of main entity and so on. And the occurrence of employment are predicted by machine learning using random forest model. Major research results are as follows. The job creation of National R&D project are increased in the case of service R&D, as the raise of the funding, and for the case of SMEs or middle-sized enterprises as the leading institution. Conversely, the job creation are reduced for the case of process innovation and as the increase of support year. Whereas, IT or fundamental technology project have no statistically significant effect. This study would be academically meaningful in that the effects of various technical characteristics of national R&D projects on job creation are identified, and can be used practically to plan, evaluate, and manage national R&D in the direction of enhancing job creation.
