ICT 벤처기업의 정부 지원 수혜 수가 경영 성과에 미치는 영향 : 자원기반이론과 거래비용이론 관점에서의 논의

Today, startups play an important role in the national economy, and the government is promoting various support policies to foster startups. In fact, startups are participating in various government support, but it is questionable whether receiving a lot of government support necessarily has a positive effect on management performance. In resource-based theory, firms should utilize government support to overcome the limitations of internal resources. However, in transaction cost theory, it may be difficult to focus on achieving management performance because transaction costs are incurred in participating in various types of government support. This study analyzed the effect of the number of ICT startups’ government support on management performance. It was found that the greater the number of government support, the more positive the effect on management performance of ICT startups. However, in the case of small startups, receiving various government support was not positive for management performance. To foster ICT startups, it is necessary to consider package-type support rather than individual support, and differentiated policies should be prepared according to the firm size.
