평생교육사의 경력경로 유형 및 유형별 특성

The purpose of this study was to find out the types of career paths of lifelong educators and to empirically analyze the characteristics of each career path. To achieve this purpose, first, career paths of lifelong educators were categorized. And secondly, the characteristics of each career path were analyzed. Lastly, general characteristics of lifelong educators were investigated according to type of career paths. For this study, quantitative data were collecte d from 135 lifelong educators with more than 10 years of experience and used to analyze career changes in working institutions, positions, and jobs through multi-channel sequence analysis. As a result of the analysis, first, the types of career path were four: stable linear type, lifelong education expert type, borderless transfer type, and multicyclic spiral type. Second, in the career path of lifelong educators, there were unique and heterogeneous career characteristics for each type. For example, borderless transfer type showed more different career patterns than other types. Third, there were significant differences by each type in the general characteristics. For example, the lifelong educators of the stable linear, lifelong education expert type, and multicyclic spiral type continued to learn and develop their careers after acquiring the lifelong educator qualification. Based on the conclusions, discussions and implications were suggested.
