특허 분석을 통한 4차 산업 기반 스포츠산업 신기술 도출 방안

초록
연구목적: 4차 산업혁명 주요기술과 스포츠는 핵심 융·복합 분야의 한 축으로 발전 가능성을 내포하고 있다. 특히, 4차 산업 주요기술 중 일부(인공지능, 빅데이터, 사물인터넷, 가상현실, 웨어러블 등)는 스포츠산업기술 발전에 중추적 역할을 할 것으로 전망하고 있다. 맥락에서 본 연구는 국내스포츠산업 시장이 4차 산업 주요기술들과 신속한 융합을 추진하여 창의적인 아이디어 발굴과 신기술을 선점하기 위한 접근방법으로 ‘특허분석(Patent Analysis)’방법론을 제안하고자 한다. 연구방법: 특허분석이란 특허의 주요정보(문서내용의 핵심기술 정보)를‘키워드(Keyword)’데이터로 추출하여 ‘연결구조’를 시각화(Visualization)하여 원하는 결과를 한눈에 파악할 수 있도록 “특허지도(Patent Map)”를 생성하여 파생되는 결과를 통해 기술변화 트렌드, 기술수준, 향후 기술의 전망 등을 도출하는 것이다. 결과: 사례연구를 통한 스포츠 인공지능-웨어러블 기술에 대한 특허분석을 실시한 결과 가장 높은 비중을 차지하는 기술로써 특허지도의 중심부를 기점으로 여러 관련 기술 및 특허를 파생하고 있으며, 스포츠 분야에서는 인공지능 - 웨어러블/IoT 융합분야의 새로운 패러다임적 접근보다는 해당 영역의 고도화를 위한 다양한 주변기술을 모색해야 할 것으로 판단된다. 결론: 특허분석에 활용되는 데이터인 특허는 기본적으로 독점권에 관한 권리이기도 하지만, 연구개발 활동 및 기술발전의 수준 그리고 향후 새로운 기술의 지표역할을 하는 분석데이터로 많은 활용가치를 지니고 있다.
Abstract
Purpose: This study intends to propose the 'Patent Analysis' methodology as an approach for the domestic sports industry market to rapidly converge with major technologies of the 4th industry to discover creative ideas and preoccupy new technologies. Methods: Patent analysis is a “patent map” that extracts key information of a patent (core technical information of document content) as 'keyword' data and visualizes the 'connection structure' so that the desired results can be grasped at a glance. and derives technological change trends, technology levels, and future technology prospects through the results derived. Result: As a result of patent analysis on sports AI-wearable technology through case study, as the technology that occupies the highest proportion, various related technologies and patents are derived from the center of the patent map. In the sports field, artificial intelligence-wearable/IoT Rather than a new paradigmatic approach in the field of convergence, it is judged that various peripheral technologies should be sought for the advancement of the relevant field. Conclusion: Patents, which are data used for patent analysis, are fundamentally rights related to monopoly rights, but they have a lot of useful value as analysis data that serves as an indicator of R&D activities and technological development and new technologies in the future.
