정부의 지원을 바탕으로 창업한 MZ세대 여성기술창업의 동기, 목적, 과정 등에 관한 탐색적 연구

[Purpose]This study aims to understand the motivation, purpose, and process of Generation MZ women technology startups based on the experiences of women technology entrepreneurs of the MZ generation who have started their businesses with government support. Through this, the study intends to broaden the understanding of the characteristics of Generation MZ women technology startups and seek the developmental measures necessary to promote these startups. [Methodology]This study was conducted by interviewing seven women entrepreneurs of the MZ generation based on the grounded theory, a qualitative research methodology. Through the exploratory approach of the grounded theory, which has the characteristics of obtaining a broader understanding of new phenomena, the interview contents were analyzed through open coding, axis coding, selective coding to draw and organize the characteristics of women technology startups. [Findings]Women technology founders of the MZ generation who started their business with government support perceive startups as a new opportunity with a confident disposition and start utilizing government support. Various purposes of the startups were presented, and relatively, many of the goals are the commercialization of ICT technology. The commercialization process consists of establishing a market－tailored commercialization process and market using ICT technology to secure customers while continuously expanding the business base. [Implications]This study presents policy implications to promote Generation MZ women technology startups, including arranging startup programs that identify and reflect the MZ generation’s characteristics, expanding the foundation for Generation MZ women to start technology startups, and supporting the expansion of technical networks for women technology entrepreneurs of the MZ generation.
