“M/T”(M/T and the Narrative About the Marvels of the Forest) is a work that was criticized for the difficulty of “The Game of Contemporaneity” and was written to overcome it. In this paper, I argued that from the perspective of the translation defined by Roman Jakobson, the rewritten “M/T” of “The Game of Contemporaneity” can be seen as a translation of “The Game of Contemporaneity”. In “The Game of Contemporaneity”, the tradition of the valley village is told through a formal-educated knowledge and history expert in the field of reason, but in “M/T” it has nothing to do with knowledge or reason. It has been rewritten into a story written by a person trained with nostalgic feelings and emotions. This can be seen as a kind of translation, and it can be said that this translation description has overcome the difficulty of “The Game of Contemporaneity” to some extent. On the other hand, M/Ts of various phases have appeared in “M/T”, and both works also function as M/Ts. “M/T” and “The Game of Contemporaneity” exist as independent texts. However, just as M and T were independent figures in “M/T”, but they could do something together at the same time, these two works are also related to M/T as a novel. In other words, although each of these works is an individual text, it functions as a context for understanding each other’s works, and it seems that the range of interpretation or appreciation of the text can be expanded. It works similarly for translations between languages ​​and is considered to serve as a valid context.
