본 연구에서는 통계적 정보와 서지적 데이터를 모두 활용하여 거시적 관점에서 미래 유망기술을 도출하는 방법을 제안한다. 기존 연구들은 대부분특허 건수와 같은 단일의 통계적 데이터 또는 서지적 정보만을 활용해 유망기술을 도출하고 있다는 점에서 정밀성·예측력이 미흡하거나 상당한 비용이 수반된다는 한계가 있다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 방법은 우선 국제특허분류(IPC)에서 Sub-group으로 세분화되지 않은 Main-group을 데이터 수집 대상으로 설정하고, 통계적 데이터를 활용하는 주성분 요인분석 및 상관관계분석을 통해 과거에 유망했던 기술분야들과 유사한 특징을 보이는 유망기술분야 후보군을 도출한 후 특허의 서지적 데이터를 활용하는 텍스트마이닝분석을 통해 최종적으로 유망기술을 확정한다는 점에서 선행연구의 방법과차이가 있다. 본 연구에서는 IPC 기준 8개의 섹션 중 H섹션(전기분야)을 대상으로 분석하였다. 본 연구는 복수의 분석기법을 결합함으로써 유망기술발굴의 효율성·객관성을 높일 수 있는 새로운 방법론을 제안한다는 점에서학술적·실무적 의의가 있다고 하겠다.
Abstract
This study proposes a new process of identifying emerging technologies from a macro perspective using statistical and bibliographic data. Since most of the existing studies identify emerging technologies using only a single statistical data or bibliographic information such as number of patents, there is a limitation in that precision and prediction power is insufficient or costs considerable. The proposed process in this study differs from that of previous studies in that the main-group not subdivided into sub-group is set as the target of data collection, and the candidate group for emerging technology similar to those of the past is identified through factor analysis and correlation analysis. In this study, we analyze H-section(electric field) based on International Patent Classification(IPC). This study contributes to the methodology for identifying emerging technologies, proposing a new process that can increase the efficiency and objectivity by combining multiple analysis techniques.
