성인학습자의 그릿(GRIT) 연구 동향 및 주요 변인 분석

초록
이 연구의 목적은 국내 그릿 관련 연구 동향과 주요 변인을 파악해 성인학습자의 그릿 연구에 시사점을 제공하는 것이다. 한국교육학술정보원의 RISS에서 ‘그릿’으로 검색한 914편에서 박사학위 논문 중 성인학습자를 대상으로 한 36편을 분석해 발행 연도, 연구 방법, 연구 대상, 주제 및 주요 변인별로 분류하였다. 연구 결과, 2021년에 16편(44%)으로 가장 많이 발행되었고 2019년 이후 32편(88.8%)이 발표되어 최근에 그릿 연구에 대한 관심이 높아지는 추세를 알 수 있었다. 연구 방법은 양적연구에 집중되어 질적 연구를 포함한 다양한 심층적인 연구가 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 연구 대상별 결과는 대학생이 가장 많았고, 기업조직구성원, 영유아교사 순이었으며 새로운 연구 대상으로 범위가 확대되고 있다. 그릿과 관련한 주요 변인은 직무와 진로, 학업, 자기계발 등이었다. 성인학습자의 그릿 연구 발전을 위해서는 연구 대상별 특성과 문화적 특성을 고려하여 그릿 개념을 재정의할 필요가 있다. 이를 기반으로 ‘한국적 성인학습자 그릿’과 관련된 연구도 기대할 수 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to provide implications for adult learners' grit research by identifying domestic grit-related research trends and major variables. From 914 pieces searched by "grit" in the RISS of the Korea Educational Research Information Service, 36 pieces of doctoral dissertations were analyzed for adult learners and classified by publication year, research method, research subject, subject, and major variable. As a result of the study, 16 (44%) were published the most in 2021, and 32 (88.8%) were published since 2019, indicating that interest in grit research has recently increased. Research methods were found to be concentrated on quantitative research and require various in-depth studies including qualitative research. As for the results of each study subject, college students were the most, followed by corporate organization members and infant teachers, and the scope is expanding to new research subjects. The main variables related to grit were job, career, study, and self-development. For the development of grit research by adult learners, it is necessary to redefine the grit concept in consideration of the characteristics and cultural characteristics of each study subject. Based on this, research related to the 'Korean Adult Learner Grit' can also be expected.
