온라인 MICE 행사 참가자들의 미팅테크놀로지 수용의도에 관한 연구: 확장된 기술수용 모델을 활용하여
A Study on Meeting Technology Acceptance Intention of Online MICE Event Participants: Using the Extended TAM

초록
최근 코로나 사태로 새로운 기술과 접목한 IT특화 온라인 행사들이 개최되기 시작하였는데, 이러 한 IT 산업과 MICE 산업 간 융복합은 오랜 기간 진행된 것임에도 불구하고 관련 연구는 거의 없는 상황이 다. 이에 본 연구에서는 온라인 MICE행사 이용자들의 새로운 기술에 대한 ‘기술수용의도’를 살피고, 향후 더 가속화될 IT분야와 MICE분야 간 융복합에 대해 이론적 토대를 제공하고자 한다. 실증분석을 위해 2020 년~2021년 간 국내에서 개최된 온라인 MICE 행사에 참가한 이력이 있는 표본을 수집하였다. 설문조사는 2021년 08월 01일부터 2021년 09월 30일까지 총 60일간 진행되었으며, 총 취합설문 371부 중 315부(84.9%) 를 분석에 활용하였다. 실증분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 온라인 MICE행사의 기술적 특성과 시스템 품질은 이용자의 유용성과 용이성에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미친다. 2) 온라인 MICE행사 이용자 자기효능감과 혁신성, 그리고 사회적 영향은 이용자의 유용성과 용이성에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미친다. 3) 용이성과 유용성 및 사용의도 간 인과관계(TAM)도 모두 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미친다. 이러한 연구결과는 향후 더 발전될 온라인 행사 관련 이론적 토대를 제공하였다는 데에 그 의의가 있으며, 온라인 행사에서는 소프트 웨어의 기술적 특성 외에도 기술에 낯선 계층에 대한 사회적 영향도 고려해야 한다는 실무적 의의가 있다.
Abstract
IT-specialized online events combined with new technologies have begun to be held in the MICE field, such as events utilizing metaverse and VR platforms. However, although the convergence between the IT industry and the MICE industry has been going on for a long time, there are few related studies conducted during the recent pandemic. Therefore, this study examines the ‘technology acceptance intention’ of online MICE event users' new technologies and intends to provide a theoretical foundation for the convergence between the IT and MICE fields, which will be accelerated in the future. For empirical analysis, samples with a history of participating in online-only MICE events held in Korea between 2020 and 2021 were collected. The survey was conducted for a total of 60 days from August 01, 2021 to September 30, 2021, and 315 copies (84.9%) of the total 371 questionnaires were used for analysis. The empirical analysis results are as follows: 1) The technical & User’s Individual characteristics, and Social influences of the online MICE events have a significant positive (+) effect on the usefulness and ease of users, 2) The causal relationship between ease and usefulness and intention to use(TAM) also has a significant positive (+) effect. The results of this study are meaningful in that they provided a theoretical foundation for online events that will be further developed in the future, and have practical significance in that online events should consider not only the technical characteristics of software but also the social impact on the class unfamiliar with technology.
