노인 재택근무자를 위한 실내디자인 문제 인식 연구 -산동성 임기시 노인들을 중심으로-

One of the issues require social solutions today is the aging of population. The economic burden in preparation for increased life expectancy has changed from a personal problem to national problem. In this case of China, as it enters an aging society, serious problems caused by verious factors are expected. As the recent pendemic continues to sweep the world, people’s jobs and work patterns are changing. A typical example is home-working, and the type of work is affecting not only the main age groups in the industry, but also the jobs of the elderly. There is a trend to expand employment through this type of work even in the simple labor market, where many elderly people enter. The indoor environment mainly used by the elderly should be provided in consideration of the physical and psychological changes of old age. In addition to this, it is very important for the elderly working from home to increase their life satisfaction by considering the work environment in a residential environment, and to provide an environment the does not cause difficulties in work due to age. This study presents guidelines for interior design as an alternative to providing a home-work environment to enable the elderly to continue economic activities while considering the current residential environment in China and the life of elderly Chinese. Asfor the progress of this study, a literature study was conducted on the characteristics of the elderly, the characteristics of space used by the elderly, and the home-working environment. Also, a survey was conducted on the atatus of residential space use among the elderly during their tenure in China. Based on this, the interior design guidelines for the elderly to work from home were presented by reflecting the needs of the elderly and the principles of universal design.
