지역혁신체제와 ICT 벤처 기업 혁신 성과: 수도권과 비수도권에 대한 비교 연구

Korea‘s regional innovation system has been used as a policy tool for balanced regional development and industrial innovation. Regional innovation capabilities that explain the capabilities of the regional innovation system include regional networks, finance, culture, and learning processes. The purpose of this study is to suggest the direction of regional ICT and science and technology policies by analyzing the innovation patterns of ICT venture companies in the metropolitan/non-metropolitan areas and regional innovation capabilities that affect innovation performance. ICT venture panel data from the Korea Information Society Development Institute was used, and the Propensity Score Matching and Logit Regression were applied for the data analysis. As a result of the analysis, it was found that ICT venture companies in the metropolitan area preferred internal R&D, and ICT venture companies in non-metropolitan areas preferred joint R&D and external R&D. In addition, the effect of regional innovation capacity on the innovation performance of ICT venture companies was derived through logit regression analysis. Finally, policy implications were suggested based on the analysis results.
