The development (progress) of the 4th industrial revolution (digitalization) emerges a new form of work (employment) called cloud work that receives and processes work through a digital platform. Such cloud work provides a new flexible opportunity for cloud workers, but there are also concerns about becoming a “new unstable employment type” due to the instability of orders and the vulnerability to social risks. However, there are certain limitations in protecting cloud workers under labor law. Therefore, in the context of “Labor 4.0”, the basic direction of legislative policy for the protection of cloud (platform) workers is also discussed.
