자연을 모티브로 한 뷰티 일러스트레이션 작품 연구: 수채화 기법을 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to produce beauty illustration works by using the expression technique of watercolor techniques. This makes it possible to create a new value in the field of beauty and even expand the field through an artistic attempt that fuses the fields of beauty and painting, and has academic significance that the aesthetic characteristics such as diversity and creativity are realized by rearranging the patterns in three-dimension on a human face in two-dimension. A total of four beauty illustration works inspired by a motif of nature are produced by applying watercolor techniques such as smudging, wetting, overlapping, spraying, shedding, wiping, and dry brushing. As a result, first of all, the creative design development process based on a motif of the sensibility and design elements inherent in nature is suitable for various and unique expressions and methods in the field of beauty, and it can be seen that the material of nature allows various design possibilities and new images to be continuously expressed from the perspective of the origin of life. Second, the pictorial expression of art makeup design applying watercolor techniques can be used to research and develop the methods of emotional expression when applied to beauty illustrations since it may suggest a beauty design method that can express a rich three-dimensional feeling and becomes an art material that gives diversity and originality of expression. Third, it was found that by using watercolor painting techniques, the range of material selection in beauty illustration is expanded to enable artistic attempts in various aspects. With this, experiments on new ideas, motif selection, and expression methods for beauty illustration works, which have infinite novelty potential, are explored, and more research is expected to be carried out in various ways.
