제품디자인 평가 방법론을 이용한 스키드로더 디자인 평가 제안 연구

Background When conducting usability evaluation is difficult, there remains a question whether designs may be evaluated with application of visual pointing only w`hich is a suggested design evaluation method. Therefore, it is intended in the study to identify whether design evaluation method is applicable when evaluation of usability is difficult because prototypes cannot be manufactured in design development process but design evaluation is required with application of visual pointing method. Methods First, evaluation actors are extracted and evaluation scale is redefined with use of factor analysis based on such extraction. Second, questionnaires are provided with application of visual pointing. Third, an experiment is conducted with collection of experimental subjects. Fourth, result of the experiment is analyzed and future supplementations of exterior and interior of skid loaders is identified by evaluating designs. Fifth, usability of design evaluation experiment in which visual pointing is applied is identified. Results In the study, advantages of products that which parts of positive values give positive effects to evaluators could be identified. Also, differently from previous studies that one image was used to show the function of a product, it was proved that visual pointing is possible using various angles of rendering images. Also, as the result of and reason for corresponding design evaluation can be identified at a look like previous studies, the time to analyze the result is reduced and possible disputes in the result may be reduced among interested parties of a project. Conclusion The study is meaningful in the respect that it was identified whether suggested design evaluation rather than usability evaluation is applicable and that possible extension and development of range of use of the evaluation was identified.
