보훈대상자의 성공적 노화 관련 요인에 관한 연구

This study aims to investigate factors affecting successful aging of patriots and veterans. The data used in this study were the 7th data of 2018 Korean Longitudinal Study of Aging carried out by Korea Employment Information Service, and the number of sample was 137. For the data analysis, we used SPSS Ver. 21.0. The main results of this study are as follows: 1) t-test/ANOVA analysis showed that according to characteristics of patriots and veterans, the level of successful aging were statistically different. As respondent is higher education, the better relationship with their children, the higher level of successful aging. On the contrary, as respondent is older, it showed the lower level of successful aging. 2) According to the multiple linear regression analysis, sex, age, relationship with children, and house ownership type are influential factors to the level of successful aging in patriots and veterans. Therefore, It is necessary to develop health promotion programs and overall successful aging program for the elderly patriots and veterans. Lastly, this study is significant that it was the first to explore the factors of successful aging of patriots and veterans, and it is important that it provided basic data for policy development related to the successful aging of patriots and veterans.
