사회복지사의 안전행동에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구: 개인 및 조직 요인을 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to examine individual and organizational factors that affect the safety behaviors of social workers at community welfare centers. To this end, a research model was developed with safety values, safety knowledge, and safety motivation as individual factors and physical environment, and safety culture as organizational factors. To achieve the research objective, a mail survey was conducted from June 8 to July 3, 2020, with 1,500 social workers who work at 98 community welfare centers located in Busan Metropolitan City. Among the collected responses, data from 1,329 respondents of 92 centers were used for a multilevel analysis, and an unconditional means model, unconditional random coefficient model, and conditional model analyses were performed. The results of the analyses are as follows: first, all the individual factors, such as safety values, safety knowledge, and safety motivation, were found to have a positive effect on safety behavior. This reveals that the more value the social workers put on safety, the more safety-related knowledge they had, which increased their safety motivation so they exhibited more safety behaviors. Second, physical environment did not affect their safety behavior, while safety culture was found to have a positive effect. This demonstrates that the stronger the safety culture in the community welfare center, the more the social workers performed safety behaviors. Based on these results, this study developed implications for the establishment of a safety governance at community welfare centers in the post-COVID-19 era.
